About the Artist

Artist? As if! I'm no artist, and I never will be. I just like to pretend. :)

Well, now that we have that straightened out... aheh. As I mentioned on the main page, my name's Angie. I'm a 21-year-old Canadian with a bit of a Zelda obsession. Like you couldn't tell. :) I'm in university, majoring in linguistics and minoring in classics. I still have no idea what I want to be when I grow up. Well ok, actually I do. I want to be an elf. Like Tolkien's elves. But the university doesn't offer any elf courses. :P My main passtimes include drawing, reading, and hanging around online. I can put both my legs behind my head and sing the alphabet backwards in English or French. Heh, sorry, that's just something I'm kinda proud of for some unknown reason. :)

So why do I draw if I insist I'm no artist? Who knows. Maybe because I like looking at other peoples' drawings so much. Maybe it's that Zelda obsession manifesting itself when I'm not playing the game. Maybe because I've nothing better to do. :) Heck, it's kinda fun pretending to be an artist. Kinda frustrating, but kinda fun.

Now, about Navi...

Listen!

Unlike most Zelda fans I've encountered, I don't hate Navi.
*listens to all the startled gasps* Yes, you heard me right. Would I let her hang around my site if I did?

Hey!

Aheh. Anyway. I think the saddest part of the ending of OoT was when (SPOILER) Navi left Link. I mean, think of all those two have been through together. Navi was always right at Link's side... even inside a giant fish! I figure she's every bit as brave as he is to go with him into all those monster-ridden places, and that in my opinion makes up for her annoying-ness. (I know, that's not a word.) So please be kind to Navi while you're here, kay? Thank you. :)

*looks smug*
